Arrangements!
Beware ye scurvy dogs! Typos abound!
I enjoy video games. I believe I may enjoy games more than most people do. I know people who enjoy games more than me. These people are crazy and should be locked up.
Here are some musical tributes to some of my favorite games.
I arrange music from games as part of a growing internet community of game arrangers.
In One Dragon's Heart ("An Old Irish Song" from Suikoden)
This is an inpromtu recording of me playing a song from a favorite video game.
Crystal Sermon (Medley - Final Fantasy 7 - Project)
This is the main theme of Final Fantasy 7 alongside the opening, heavily arranged. All sequenced as part of the arrangement project: Voices of the Lifestream.
Alien Exploration (Medley - Final Fantasy 7 - Project)
Another track from the Final Fantasy 7 arrangement project: Voices of the Lifestream.
This is the BGM from Gold Saucer plus Cid's Theme. It's all done in latin jazz/fusion style with very bizarre instrumentation.
Travel Companion ( Medley - Chrono Trigger / Crono Cross)
This is a bizarre arrangement of some of my favorite material from Yasunori Mitsuda, and Nobuo Uematsu.
My Favorite Food is Children ( Medley - Earthbound[Mother 2]/Earthbound 0 [Mother])
This Medley is done with a electro jazz flare, combining some of my favorite music from any game ever. GO GO NES SQUAREWAVE!
Guile's Mile Long Dong (Street Fighter 2 - Guile Stage - Project)
Again I make use of a bizarre dance instrumentation featuring a quartet of recorders. Just when you think it cant be any more awesome, Guile hits you in the face with a sonic boom courtesy of my brother dishing out some mean electric guitar.
Wizards In My Armor [Warrior In My Long-Johns] (Medley - Wizards and Warriors) _
This is a JUST FOR FUN Butt Rock arrangement of Wizards and Warriors, put to an original melody, featuring me on vocals and electric soprano recorder, and my brother jamming some hot guitar solo-ing in yo' face. Everything else is sequenced.
His First Good Deed (Medley - Breath of Fire - Additional Info)
This represents my very first video game music arrangement. I completed it over the course of a month MANY years ago. It was featured on OC Remix on December 30th, 2003.
Sector 7 Hath Wrought The Angel (Medley - Final Fantasy 7 - Additional Info)
This is my take on the most popular track on the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack.
It is a mixture of orchestral, choral and club dance and rhythm. It contains rhythm and sounds packed full of middle eastern flair, a sound fairly typical of me back in 2002-2004.
This is possibly my most widely recieved remix. I get lots of email regarding this track.

Cliff the Great Crusader ( Warrior's Villiage - Suikoden - Additional Info)
My third Video game music arrangement. I wanted to try my hand at recording some of my woodwind playing, and sticking to a rich celtic format sequenced and recorded my way into an eclectic mixture of Baroque, Celtic and Modern style. The Soundtracks to Suikoden and Suikoden 2 are my two most fondly revered collections of music.

Bombin' Shade of Blue (Medley - MegaMan 7/Ghosts and Goblins - Additional Info)
I took a pretty long break from the eye of the internet before this piece came about.
I participated in a competition to make an arrangement of Shademan from MegaMan 7. I came up with a pretty out there mix featuring a lot of melody development and kickin grooves.
My friend Mike Z the famed combo video producer pointed out that Shademan had a secret level soundtrack. If you know the secret, instead of the normal shademan music, there would be the music from Super Ghosts and Goblins instead. I included this music as a fun bonus.
